Summary Nr: 103960.015Event: 03/16/2018Employee Is Injured In Fall From Scaffold
At 3:30 p.m. on March 16, 2018, a painter was working on a boat to sand and paint it. As the employee was working from a wooden ladder to access a scaffold system, he stepped on the top rung to reach the scaffolding plank. The scaffold system did not have guardrails and the employee fell, striking a concrete floor. The employee sustained broken bones and a head injury, which he was hospitalized and received treatment.
