At 3:45 p.m. on January 12, 2018, an employee was operating a sky Trac forklift, picking up railroad cross ties to be distributed for track construction. As the employee was operating the forklift on the rail grade that had been prepared for new rail construction, the forklift rolled over. The employee became caught beneath the forklift and was killed.
