At 5:45 a.m. on October 30, 2017, an employee was loading the roller conveyor with titanium billets.The employee tried to clear the conveyor when one of the billets was jammed. The employee amputated the right index fingertip when his finger was pinched in a nip point. Hospitalization was not required.
