Investigation Summary
On December, 23 2002, Employee #1 and a coworker were at a residential lot while operating a portable SkilSaw. Employee #1 suffered a serious laceration to his leg when the saw blade kicked back from the cut he was making. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The accident was caused by lack of training in the safe operation of a portable SkilSaw.
