Lineman injured in fall from utility pole

On May 11, 1995, Employee #1, a lineman for PG & E, was transferring crossarms and power lines from an old pole to an adjacent new pole. He was repositioning himself on the old pole when he fell approximately 25 ft backward to the ground. He was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis and ribs. On inspection, safety belt and gaffs were in good condition.
