Summary Nr: 86084.015Event: 05/27/2016Employee Overturns Forklift And Is Killed
At 12:00 p.m. on May 27, 2016, an employee was using a forklift truck to unload a metal ramp from a flatbed truck and the forklift truck turned over, pinning th e employee under the counterweight. The employee was hospitalized and died two w eeks later on June 11, 2016. He received serious crushing injuries to the pelvic area.
