At 9:15 a.m. on July 25, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, was engaged in steel erection at the construction site for a commercial building. He was connecting a steel beam and attempting to adjust it, using a pry bar to install the bolts. Employee #1 lost his balance and fell from the beam to the concrete surface, a fall height of approximately 19 feet. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for lacerations to his face, nose, and elbow.
