At 8:45 a.m. on May 8, 2017, an employee was ascending a tree. After tying off to a limb, the limb broke and the employee fell approximately 50 feet to the ground. He was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he was hospitalized and received treatment for a fractured sternum, 8 fractured ribs, a lacerated kidney, a bruised liver, fractured pelvis, four fractured vertebrae, one burst vertebrae, fractured tailbone, several pulled muscles, and eye injuries.
