Employee #1, the owner's juvenile son, decided to accompany the work crew out on a job patching pot holes in the road. When they arrived at the site, Employee #1 and another employee got out of the truck and were standing on the curb. When the crew truck went to pull up so that the asphalt truck could also pull up, Employee #1 tried to jump onto the low boy trailer being pulled by the crew truck. He slipped and fell under the trailer. He received crush injuries to his chest and was killed.
