On April 27, 2008, Employee #1, who was employed by Calop Business Systems, was assigned to the bag room at the Los Angeles International Airport. At 8:45 p.m., she entered the building, coming down the west-side ramp, to go to the bag room. She was hit and pushed against the south wall by a group of five dollies owned and operated by Swissport USA, Inc. Paramedics were called to the site, and they transported Employee#1 to the nearest trauma center at Harbor UCLA Hospital. Employee #1 apparently sustained a concussion, and she was hospitalized for four days. The employer reported the accident to the Los Angeles District Office on April 30, 2008, and an associate safety engineer interviewed witnesses and Employee #1.
