At approximately 1:10 p.m. on September 16, 2008, Employee #1, a Physical Education Teacher, was walking from the teacher's office into the girl's locker room. She lost her balance on the two steps, leading down from the office into the locker room at the Middle School location. Employee #1 sustained a serious back injury and was hospitalized at Sharp Grossmont hospital for back pain.
