At approximately 1:00 p.m. on April 23, 1992, Employee #1, of Ellison Construction, was working as a carpenter at a residential construction site in Oakley, CA. While he was cutting a short piece of 2 by 4, the circular saw kicked and pulled his left hand toward the blade. He was taken to Delta Memorial Hospital in Antioch, for treatment of cuts to the index, middle, and ring fingers and amputation of the little finger. | |||||||
