At approximately 3:07 p.m. on October 19, 1993, Employee #1 was opening the cargo door of a railroad boxcar for unloading when the cam lock handle suddenly released and struck his left hand, fracturing the middle finger. Employee #1 was trained in this operation, was experienced, and was aware of hazards. There was no violation of T-8 CCR.
