At approximately 5:45 a.m. on May 28, 2021, an employee removed a crown electric pallet jack from the recharging area. The employee put the pallet jack into "co ast mode" and rode the pallet jack. The employee turned the throttle in the wron g direction and the pallet jack began to speed up. The employee jumped off the p allet jack. The employee's right foot was pinned between the pallet jack and a g uardrail. The employee fractured his right ankle and was hospitalized for these injuries.
