At 1:15 a.m. on March 14, 2021, an employee removed a guardrail from an elevated work platform in order to close an exterior airplane door. The employee did not properly attach his harness to the retractable lanyard connected to the overhea d anchor point. The employee fell approximately 15 to 18 feet to the concrete ta rmac and was killed.
