At 11:00 p.m. on July 22, 2019, an employee worked from a twelve-foot, A-frame l adder to remove wire and conduit from an existing store front for a remodeling p roject. The employee opened a junction box and began to move wires to investigat e the contents when the employee received an electric shock after contacting a t wo hundred- and seventy-seven-volt wire. The employee then fell approximately tw elve feet from the ladder and received fractures to the arm and leg, and a shoul der dislocation. The employee was hospitalized for more than twenty four hours t o treat the injuries.
