At 10:45 a.m. on June 24, 2019, an employee was setting up a foot-operated coil punch machine. The employee had her index finger in the area of the clamp when s he accidentally activated the foot pedal, resulting in the amputation of her fin ger. The employee was treated but was not hospitalized.
