At 10:30 a.m. on May 10, 2019, an employee was sorting garbage that was moving o n a conveyor. The employee retrieved a piece of wood from the conveyor and was h olding it with one end of the board still on the conveyor. The conveyor kept mov ing and pinched the employee's right index fingertip between the wood and the co nveyor's framework. The employee sustained a right index fingertip amputation an d was treated but was not hospitalized.
