At approximately 2:45 a.m. on May 15, 2019, an employee was cleaning the conveyo r belt and rollers. The employee was using a hose to spray off the excess food o n the conveyor belt from the previous shift. The employee reached between the co nveyor belt and the roller to free materials hung up on the conveyor. The employ ee's raincoat was caught between the conveyor and the roller. The employee's lef t wrist and forearm were caught in the nip point, causing a laceration that requ ired surgery. The employee was hospitalized for these injuries.
