At 2:00 p.m. on March 20, 2019, an employee was using an unguarded Steel City Tool Works 10 inch Deluxe Saw, 4150 RPM, Model Number 35639, hand-fed table mounted circular ripsaw. The blade was up about 1.5 inches and the wood was 0.1875 inch thick. The employee's right hand index finger was amputated when it was struck by the saw blade. The employee was hospitalized.
