At 2:30 p.m. on March 16, 2019, an employee stood on top of a beam while working to secure a new laminated beam to be secured as part of a wall framing system. The employee squatted down to nail the connecting bracket in place with the empl oyee placing their right foot onto the unsecured beam. This caused the unsecured beam to push free of the connecting bracket and caused the employee to lose bal ance and fall approximately eleven feet. The employee was hospitalized to treat a fractured upper right arm.
