At 6:20 a.m. on January 18, 2019, Employee # 1 was operating a radial arm saw th at is mounted to a table. The saw was used to cut wood for building pallets. The employee had just turned off the saw and ran his hand across the table as he wa s turning his body. His finger came into contact with the A part of the saw blad e, which not covered by the guard, and was amputated. The entry states he was no t hospitalized, but he likely was.
