At 12:15 p.m. on February 26, 2019, an employee was working on the Karl Mayer Kn itter #11 (Type: RS 4-N-2M/F) when she observed the string breaking causing res ulting in poor product quality. The employee took a rag and was wiping the rubb er roller on the backside when an unguarded chain and sprocket grabbed her cloth es. The employee was pulled into the machine and sustained injuries to her uppe r legs as well as a puncture wound. The employee was hospitalized.
