At 10:15 a.m. on December 20, 2018, an employee was loading a tanker truck with wine at Receiving Station #2 but had not properly set the safety pin for the Sanitary 60TT Valve. The employee caught his right hand's middle fingertip between the valve stem and valve body when he tried to stop the plunger from closing. The employee amputated his fingertip and was hospitalized overnight. The employee's fingertip was reattached the following day. | |||||||
