At 10:24 p.m. on January 17, 2019, an employee was working for a firm that manuf actured ice cream and other frozen desserts. She reached into a three-lane cone filler to properly set a peanut cup in its holding bracket. The cup fell onto a moving conveyor below, and the employee reached for it. The conveyor cycled forw ard and pinched the employee's finger between the cup and the bracket. She susta ined the amputation of the index finger on her right hand. She was hospitalized.
