At 2:30 a.m. on November 29, 2018, an employee was using an overhead crane to lift a square metal stock bar to put it back into a rack and placed his left hand on the bar, guiding it to the rack. The employee caught his ring finger between the square stock bar and the protruding horizontal bar, crushing his fingertip. The employee later surgically amputated it. Hospitalization was not required.
