At 12:18 p.m. on December 4, 2018, an employee was cleaning a Colborne Dough Divider and reached his hand into the unguarded moving portion of the dough divider extrusion area to clean it of residual dough pieces. The machine was operating at normal speed and the guard was missing from the area where he reached his hand in to. The employee suffered multiple fractures to his wrist and lacerations to his fingers. He was treated and released from the hospital after sutures were applied and the broken bones were set.
