At 8:40 a.m. on November 3, 2018, an employee was pushing a loaded pallet to the end of a conveyor at Press 4 when he noticed a plastic pad laying in front of t he pallet. The employee reached down to remove the plastic pad while it continu ed to roll toward the conveyor end stop, pinching his fingertip between the pall et and the conveyor stop. The employee amputated his fingertip and was hospital ized.
