At 1:15 p.m. on October 25, 2018, an employee was working on the casing line where pig intestine casings were being processed through multiple roller stations. The employee reached under the guard and pushed a casing into the rollers with his left hand where it was caught and crushed. The employee lacerated and fractured his left hand's middle finger and was hospitalized.
