At 3:30 p.m. on October 3, 2018, an employee was disconnecting a pressurized hose that contained hot asphalt. The employee was then sprayed on the arms, torso and legs as pressurized asphalt pushed out of the hose and struck the employee. The employee was hospitalized for burns to his arms, torso and neck.
