At 3:40 a.m. on August 18, 2018, an employee was cleaning a machine on line 12 and had turned the pump off before going to lunch. The employee returned and was unable to close the line, noticing some white foam on the equipment. The employee's finger slipped and was caught in the pump when he wiped the foam with it. The employee partially amputated his right hand's middle finger and was hospitalized.
