At 1:30 p.m. on September 11, 2018, an employee was carrying two five-gallon buckets of hot asphalt when his foot stuck to the walking-working surface. The employee tripped and fell, spilling the hot asphalt which splashed onto his face. The employee received burns to his face and was hospitalized.
