At 4:30 p.m. on August 7, 2018, Employee #1, employed by a roofing company, was engaged in roofing repair work at a two-story residential structure. He was fixing the roof's drip edge metal flashing when it came out of the box, struck his left hand, and amputated the tip of his middle finger. The employee was transported to the hospital, treated for the partial finger amputation, and released.
