At 11:20 a.m. on June 23, 2018, an employee was operating an Alpine tube and pipe hydraulic bender. After placing a tube in the benders clamp, he activated the machine while his right hand was in the machine's point of operation (between the pipe and the clamp). As a result, the employee's right index finger was partially amputated after being pinched and fractured by the clamp.
