At 2:30 p.m. on May 31, 2018, Employee #1, employed by an electrical services co mpany, was using a treading tool to tread a section of steel tubing. During thi s process, the tool's handle swung downward, striking and smashing the employee' s left index finger. The employee was transported to the hospital, admitted, an d treated for this finger crushing injury.
