On May 16, 2018, an employee was watching a forklift operator move a palletized U-box from a semi-trailer and he reached down to secure the load as it shifted. The employee had his finger caught between the trailer wall and pallet as his coworker maneuvered the pallet against the wall. The employee amputated his finger and was hospitalized.
