At 6:58 a.m. on November 14, 2017, an employee was in the process of making windows for a set. He was cutting a 1 inch by 1 inch wood piece with a chop saw (Makita LS-S1211 Compound Miter Saw SN: 5484-95-01). He completed cutting the piece and pulled the handle up to the raised position when he reached across under the blade with his right hand, lacerating his hand.
