At 9:50 a.m. on December 20, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction compa ny, was working at a multiemployer construction project for a four-story commerc ial building. He was walking on the double top plate and marking joists in prep aration for installing metal bracing when he fell to the floor below, a fall hei ght of approximately 10 feet, and struck his head. Emergency services were call ed, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treate d for a traumatic head injury.
