At 4:40 a.m. on March 19, 2018, an employee was sanitizing and cleaning filler m achines. The employee finished rinsing the fillers and put away the hose used to rinse the fillers. The employee closed a filler door, walked around the corner, slipped, and fell on the floor. The employee sustained a fracture to the left l eg and was hospitalized. The sanitation process for the fillers involves applyin g a foam for fifteen minutes and then it is rinsed off with water using a water hose. The area is then cleaned with a mop. This cleaning process is done on a re gular basis. The floor surface is wet and slippery and employees who have access to the area use shoe covers.
