At 12:30 p.m. on March 27, 2018, Employee #1, employed by a steel erection company, was working at a multiemployer construction project, a new two-story commercial building. As he rigged an I-beam for lifting by a crane, the beam, which was set on wood planks, fell over and struck his leg. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for a leg fracture.
