At 10:45 a.m. on January 8, 2018, Employee #1 parked a van and was following up on a false occupancy report at the Train Control Hut. The employee was walking f rom the Train Control Hut back to the van when he fell. Employee #1 was not car rying any equipment and was wearing anti-slip boots. It was raining hard at 9 :15 a.m. There were no slip, trip or fall hazards in the yard where Employee #1 fell from ground level to the ground. The sustained a broken Hip requiring hip replacement surgery to his left hip. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated fo r his injuries.
