At 3:15 p.m. on July 11, 2017, a vessel containing ammonia vapor over pressurized and a safety relief valve released the vapor into the atmosphere. Employee #1, an office clerk, and Employee #2, a shipping clerk, were exposed to the vapor. Employee #1 and #2 reported shortness of breath, and were sent to a local hospital. Both employees were treated and released the same day.
