At 7:00 a.m. on December 1, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a heating and air con ditioning company, was walking in the attic of a commercial building, a multiemp loyer construction project. He stepped through an inadequately covered equipmen t access hole in the attic floor and fell to the concrete surface below, a fall height of 10 feet. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transpor ted to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for multiple injuries, includi ng a fractured skull and concussion, a fractured right wrist, and fractures to t wo fingers.
