At 1:30 p.m. on July 6, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, w as engaged in paving work at a job site. He attempted to disconnect a trailer h itch from a truck. The latch snapped closed on his finger, partially amputating the finger. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for the partial amputation of his le ft ring finger.
