At 8:15 a.m. on December 1, 2017, an employee and coworker were fixing a bad fit ting on a pressure washer. The pressure washer was turned on after fixing the fi tting. The employee put his right hand into his sleeve and touched an exposed dr ive belt to dry it off. The employees hand was caught between the belt and pulle y. The employee amputated the tips of his index and middle fingers on the right hand.
