At 9:00 p.m. on November 28, 2017, an employee was operating a track mounted exc avator. After leaving the operators cab of an excavator, the operator was struc k by a motor vehicle that lost control before leaving the active lane of traffic . The operator of the excavator received a serious head injury after being stu ck by a pedestrian's car that lost control leaving the active lane of traffic. The employee was killed.
