29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer: (a) Former Foundry Building, 4831 Front Mountain Road, Belleville, Pennsylvania - Employees worked to repair the roof deck on the former foundry building, 32 feet above the ground below, which involved the need to use fall protection. The employer did not prepare a written certification record to verify that the employer provided a training program for each employee who might have exposure to fall hazards so that employees could minimize exposure to these hazards, on September 23, 2014. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
