OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Employees were permitted to be in the travel path of the Jeffboat Transfer Cars while being operated. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to train the employees to not be in the travel paths of the Transfer Cars while being operated.
