Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.502(d)(11): Lifelines were not protected against being cut or abraded: a)Hayward Baker Inc., 1501 Maroon Creek Road, Aspen, CO: The horizontal ? inch wire rope lifelines did not terminate to the end stanchions in such a way to prevent crushing and or abrasion. Holes were drilled through the steel 3X3 stanchions that the 1/2 inch wire rope was threaded through. Additionally, the wire rope was bent around each vertical stanchion post and secured to the live wire rope ends. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (See enclosed Abatement-Certification Letter).
