Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii): Powered industrial truck(s), with the operator dismounted and within 25 feet of the truck still in his view, did not have the load engaging means fully lowered: a) In the Workshop - On or about May 21, 2014, an employee, torching the outside edge of an elevated excavator bucket repair, had dismounted the TCM FVG25N1 LP forklift, SN 30551697, and the load engaging means were not fully lowered. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
